My current research focuses on examining the psychological and health-related effects of ostracism (being excluded and ignored) on both targets (i.e., those who are ostracized) and sources (i.e., those who ostracize). I am interested in examining ostracism from a developmental perspective and developing strategies to ameliorate the aversive effects of being excluded and ignored.
